Artist: White Lies
Genre: Indie Rock/Post-Punk
British indie rock band known for their dark, post-punk influenced sound and baritone vocals. Their dramatic approach and 1980s influences created distinctive identity. Their importance to post-punk revival and their demonstration of dark indie rock's commercial potential maintains their significance. Their brooding aesthetic and Harry McVeigh's deep voice establishes them as important band representing post-punk revival's darker, more dramatic possibilities.
