Nutz were a British hard rock band from Liverpool who achieved cult following in the mid-1970s. Their powerful rock sound and energetic performances earned them respect on the British rock circuit. Though commercial breakthrough proved elusive, Nutz represented the depth of British hard rock talent during a competitive era. The band's recordings preserved their contribution to 1970s British rock. Nutz demonstrated that Liverpool's musical legacy extended beyond its 1960s fame to include credible hard rock acts.
