Murray Head is a British actor and singer best known for two massive international hits: 'Superstar' from 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'One Night in Bangkok' from 'Chess.' Both songs demonstrated his powerful voice and ability to deliver theatrical material with rock credibility. Head originated the role of Judas in the original concept album of 'Jesus Christ Superstar.' His varied career included acting roles alongside his musical work. Though known primarily for these signature songs, Head released several albums exploring rock and pop territory. His influence came through his defining performances of two of musical theatre's most successful rock songs.
