Artist: Motorhead
Genre: Heavy Metal/Rock
Motörhead were a British rock band formed in London in 1975 by bassist, singer, and founder Lemmy Kilmister after his dismissal from Hawkwind. The band's fast, aggressive style, combining punk rock energy with heavy metal power, made them one of the most influential bands in rock history. Their signature song 'Ace of Spades' epitomized their style and became a rock anthem. Lemmy's gravelly voice, the band's relentless touring, and their uncompromising sound earned them devoted fans across metal and punk communities. Classic lineup members included guitarist 'Fast' Eddie Clarke and drummer Phil 'Philthy Animal' Taylor. Motörhead refused to slow down or soften, maintaining their intensity until Lemmy's death in 2015. Their influence on thrash metal, speed metal, and punk is immeasurable.
