Kissing The Pink (later known simply as KTP) were a British synth-pop band from London who achieved success in the early 1980s. Their biggest hit, 'The Last Film,' with its atmospheric synthesizers and wistful melody, captured the romantic side of new wave. The band's large lineup, featuring strings and brass alongside synthesizers, gave them a more orchestral sound than many synth-pop contemporaries. Their album 'Naked' showcased their sophisticated approach to electronic pop. Though they never fully replicated the success of 'The Last Film,' Kissing The Pink represented the ambitious, art-school influenced end of 1980s synth-pop. Their willingness to incorporate diverse influences created a distinctive sound within the genre.
