Artist: King Crimson Usa
Genre: Progressive Rock
King Crimson's 1975 album 'USA' captured the band's ferocious live performances during their most intense period. Featuring the lineup of Robert Fripp, John Wetton, Bill Bruford, and David Cross (with violin overdubs replacing Cross's live performances), the album documented King Crimson at their heaviest and most improvisational. Tracks like 'Asbury Park' and '21st Century Schizoid Man' demonstrated the band's power and Fripp's avant-garde guitar approach. 'USA' became a favorite among fans who preferred King Crimson's aggressive side. The album represented a transition point before Fripp disbanded this version of the group. It remains essential documentation of progressive rock's most uncompromising band.
