Artist: In A Room
Genre: House/Dance
C+C Music Factory's associated act or similar dance music project, 'In a Room' represented the early 1990s dance music explosion. This period saw numerous dance acts achieving chart success as house and techno sounds crossed over to mainstream pop audiences. The early 1990s dance scene produced countless acts, many achieving one or two hits before fading from view as the rapidly evolving genre moved forward. These acts collectively helped establish dance music as a dominant force in popular music, paving the way for subsequent electronic music movements. The period represented a crucial transition in British and American pop music toward electronic dance sounds.
