Crazyhead were an English garage punk band formed in Leicester in 1986, known for their raw, energetic sound that predated the grunge movement. The band consisted of Anderson, Dick, Vom, and Porkbeast. Crazyhead created loud, riff-heavy rock influenced by garage punk, psychedelic rock, and early punk. Their music was characterized by fuzzy guitars, driving rhythms, and an unpolished, energetic approach. They released albums including 'Desert Orchid' and 'Have Love, Will Travel,' which received critical acclaim in the UK indie press. Despite never achieving commercial breakthrough, Crazyhead influenced numerous alternative and garage rock bands. They were part of the late 1980s UK underground rock scene that valued raw energy over polish. The band split in 1990 but have reunited for occasional performances. Crazyhead represented British garage punk's authentic, uncompromising spirit.
