April Wine are a Canadian rock band formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1969, becoming one of Canada's most successful rock groups. Led by vocalist Myles Goodwyn, the band's sound evolved from blues-rock and progressive rock in the 1970s to arena rock in the late 1970s and 1980s. April Wine achieved major success with albums like 'The Nature of the Beast' and 'Power Play,' featuring hits such as 'I Like to Rock' and 'Just Between You and Me.' They were particularly successful in Canada.
