Andy Roberts is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his work in the British folk-rock scene since the late 1960s. Born in 1946, Roberts was a founding member of the Liverpool Scene and later became part of Plainsong, both influential in developing folk-rock in Britain. His guitar playing combines folk finger-picking with rock sensibilities. Roberts has released several solo albums and collaborated with numerous folk and rock artists. Though he never achieved major commercial success, he's been an important figure in British folk-rock.
