Andy Bown is an English musician, songwriter, and producer best known as the keyboardist for Status Quo since 1976 and his earlier work with The Herd and Judas Jump. Born in 1946, Bown started his career in the 1960s, playing with The Herd, who achieved pop success with 'From the Underworld.' He then formed Judas Jump before joining Status Quo, where he became an integral member, contributing keyboards, bass, and backing vocals to their boogie rock sound.
