Andi Sex Gang (born Andrew Sobey) is an English singer, songwriter, and musician, best known as the founder and frontman of the gothic rock band Sex Gang Children. Born in 1959, Sex Gang was one of the pioneers of gothic rock in the early 1980s, creating dark, theatrical music with punk energy. His distinctive vocal style, combining dramatic delivery with punk attitude, helped define early gothic rock. Beyond Sex Gang Children, he has pursued various solo projects and collaborations, always maintaining his gothic aesthetic and theatrical approach.
