After twenty two years and seven albums together, Southendbased purveyors of Cosmic Americana Music, The Ugly Guys are to release a Best Of album collecting some of their favourite tracks so far.Lead singer, Paul Shuttleworth So, seven albums behind us, with many now unavailable on CD, it seems a good time to offer you a personal selection of tracks from the past.
As an appetiser for the future, also included is The Ugly Guys version of Mickey Jupps I Should Be Loving This, which will appear on the next album.Two years on from the celebrated Cover Your Tracks album, Still Kickin brings us 17 great songs that have been given a special country blues interpretation by The Ugly Guys.As well as original Ugly Guys songs, theres a fun arrangement of Paul Shuttleworth amp Vic Collins old outfit, the Kursaal Flyers classic hit, Little Does She Know.
