Betty Wright original name Bessie Regina Norris rose to fame in the 1970s with hits such as ldquoClean Up Womanrdquo, ldquoLovinrsquo Is Really My Gamerdquo, and ldquoTonight Is the Nightrdquo.
She was an outstanding performer and this Live album provides much evidence of Wrightrsquos vitality as a singer.
Besides the wonderful performances of her own hits she also sounds incredible on the cover of Leon Russellrsquos ldquoA Song for Yourdquo.
The album peaked at 63 in the Canadian Album Chart.
