Zones were a Scottish new wave band from Edinburgh who emerged in the late 1970s featuring former members of PVC2. Their energetic approach combined punk energy with new wave accessibility. Zones represented the quality of Scottish new wave during the genre's early development. Their influence contributed to Edinburgh's emerging music scene.
