Yes are a British progressive rock band formed in 1968 who became one of the genre's most successful and influential acts. Their classic lineup featuring Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman, and Bill Bruford created landmark albums including 'The Yes Album,' 'Fragile,' 'Close to the Edge,' and 'Tales from Topographic Oceans.' Their virtuosic musicianship and ambitious compositions defined progressive rock's possibilities. Despite numerous lineup changes, Yes continued recording and performing across decades. Their influence on progressive rock was foundational.
