Artist: Yeah Yeah Noh
Genre: Indie Pop
Yeah Yeah Noh were a British indie pop band from Leicester who achieved cult status in the mid-1980s with their witty, literate songs. Their music combined jangle-pop guitars with clever lyrics and deadpan delivery. Yeah Yeah Noh represented the intelligent, self-deprecating wing of 1980s British indie pop. Their influence extended through the C86 scene and subsequent indie traditions.
