Stomu Yamashta and Steve Winwood's collaboration represented the meeting of Japanese percussionist/composer Yamashta with Traffic's frontman. Their project Go, which also featured Al Di Meola and Michael Shrieve, combined progressive rock with fusion and world music influences.
