Xscape are an American R&B vocal group from Atlanta formed in 1992 featuring Kandi Burruss, sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott, and Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle. Their hits, including 'Just Kickin' It,' 'Understanding,' and 'Who Can I Run To,' showcased their vocal harmonies and helped define 1990s R&B. Kandi Burruss later achieved success as a songwriter and reality television personality. Xscape represented Atlanta's emergence as an R&B center and 1990s female R&B groups at their commercial peak.
