Wizzard were a British glam rock band led by Roy Wood following his departure from Electric Light Orchestra. Their music combined Phil Spector-influenced Wall of Sound production with glam rock energy. Hits 'See My Baby Jive,' 'Angel Fingers,' and the perennial Christmas favorite 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' achieved significant chart success. Wood's eccentric image and ambitious productions created distinctive recordings. Wizzard represented glam rock's most musically adventurous and sonically extravagant possibilities.
