The Who are a British rock band formed in London in 1964 who became one of the most influential acts in rock history. Roger Daltrey (vocals), Pete Townshend (guitar), John Entwistle (bass), and Keith Moon (drums) created explosive music that defined rock's possibilities. Albums including 'My Generation,' 'Tommy,' 'Who's Next,' and 'Quadrophenia' demonstrated remarkable artistic growth. Hits like 'My Generation,' 'Won't Get Fooled Again,' 'Baba O'Riley,' and 'Pinball Wizard' became rock anthems. Their legendary live performances set standards for rock concert intensity. The Who's influence on punk, power pop, and rock generally was immense.
