Wang Chung were a British new wave band from London who achieved success in the 1980s with their synth-driven pop rock. Their hits 'Dance Hall Days,' 'Everybody Have Fun Tonight,' and 'Let's Go!' achieved significant chart success, particularly in the US. The band also composed film scores, notably for 'To Live and Die in L.A.' Wang Chung represented the more sophisticated end of 1980s synth-pop. Their influence demonstrated British electronic pop's international appeal.
