The Walker Brothers were an American-British pop group who achieved massive success in the UK during the mid-1960s. Despite their name and image, members Scott Walker, John Walker, and Gary Walker were not brothers and were American. Their dramatic, orchestral pop, featuring Scott Walker's distinctive baritone, produced hits including 'Make It Easy on Yourself,' 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore,' and 'My Ship Is Coming In.' Scott Walker's subsequent avant-garde solo career demonstrated remarkable artistic evolution. The Walker Brothers represented 1960s pop at its most emotionally dramatic.
