Vant were a British rock band from London who achieved attention in the mid-2010s with their politically charged, energetic guitar rock. Their music addressed social and political issues with punk-influenced intensity. Though they disbanded in 2018, Vant represented the politically engaged wing of contemporary British indie rock. Their willingness to address controversial topics distinguished them from more cautious contemporaries.
