Utopia were an American rock band formed in 1973 by Todd Rundgren, evolving from progressive rock experimentation toward accessible power pop. Albums ranged from the progressive 'Todd Rundgren's Utopia' to the pop-oriented 'Adventures in Utopia.' The classic lineup of Rundgren, Kasim Sulton, Roger Powell, and Willie Wilcox achieved both critical respect and commercial success.
