Artist: U.k.
Genre: Progressive Rock
UK were a British progressive rock supergroup formed in 1977 featuring Bill Bruford (drums), Allan Holdsworth (guitar), John Wetton (bass, vocals), and Eddie Jobson (keyboards, violin). Their complex, virtuosic music combined jazz fusion with progressive rock intensity. Though short-lived, UK produced two acclaimed albums showcasing remarkable musicianship. After Bruford and Holdsworth departed, Wetton and Jobson continued briefly with other musicians. UK represented progressive rock's technical pinnacle during a period when punk threatened the genre's existence.
