The Thrills were an Irish rock band from Dublin whose California-influenced sound earned them success in the early 2000s. Their debut album 'So Much for the City' achieved platinum sales and critical acclaim. The band's sunshine pop recalled 1960s West Coast sounds. The Thrills represented Ireland's contribution to 2000s indie rock and demonstrated that Celtic acts could successfully adopt American influences.
