Terraplane were a British hard rock band from London who achieved attention in the mid-1980s. After Terraplane dissolved, members formed Thunder, achieving greater success. Terraplane represented the apprenticeship period for musicians who would later achieve mainstream rock success. Their influence was primarily through the subsequent careers of their members.
