Stray were a British hard rock band from London formed in 1966 who achieved cult status among heavy rock enthusiasts. Their powerful, blues-influenced rock earned them a devoted following despite limited chart success. Stray's energetic performances and committed approach to heavy rock demonstrated the depth of British hard rock talent during the early 1970s. Though they never achieved mainstream breakthrough, their influence on subsequent British rock bands was notable.
