Racey were a British pop band who achieved success in the late 1970s with catchy, hook-laden singles produced by Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn. Hits including 'Lay Your Love on Me' and 'Some Girls' showcased their radio-friendly pop sound. The band represented the professional pop craftsmanship of the Chinnichap production team. Though their commercial success was concentrated in a brief period, Racey's hits achieved lasting recognition on nostalgia radio.
