Quick were an American power pop band from Los Angeles who achieved cult status in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Their melodic, hook-laden rock combined influences from The Beatles, The Who, and glam rock into an energetic sound. Though commercial success proved elusive, Quick earned respect among power pop enthusiasts for their songwriting craft and tight performances. The band represented the quality of American power pop during a period when the genre produced numerous excellent but commercially overlooked bands. Their influence extended through their contribution to the power pop canon.
