Artist: Prince
Genre: Pop/Funk/Rock
American musical genius who revolutionized popular music with his genre-defying sound and prolific output. His virtuoso musicianship and boundary-pushing sexuality challenged conventions. Albums like 'Purple Rain' and 'Sign o' the Times' demonstrated his genius. His influence on pop, funk, and rock is immeasurable. His death in 2016 marked loss of one of music's greatest artists.
