Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM) are an Italian progressive rock band formed in 1970 who became the most internationally successful Italian rock act. Their music combined classical influences, jazz, and Mediterranean folk elements with progressive rock complexity. Albums 'Photos of Ghosts' and 'The World Became the World' achieved international success with English-language versions.
