No Sweat were an Irish rock band from Dublin who achieved success in the early 1990s with their energetic, radio-friendly rock sound. Their biggest hit, 'Heart and Soul,' reached the UK Top 40 and received significant radio airplay. The band's polished rock approach fit the era's taste for melodic hard rock with strong hooks. Though their commercial success was relatively brief, No Sweat represented the quality of Irish rock during a fertile period for the country's music scene. They demonstrated that Irish bands could achieve mainstream rock success beyond the more famous acts that dominated attention.
