Nicole (Nicole Hohloch) is a German singer who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1982 with 'Ein bißchen Frieden' ('A Little Peace'). The song, promoting peace during Cold War tensions, became an international hit and topped the UK charts. Nicole became the first German solo artist to achieve a UK number one.
