Artist: Marc Bolan
Genre: Glam Rock
British musician who led T. Rex, pioneering glam rock with his flamboyant style and catchy rock songs. His hits like 'Get It On' and 'Children of the Revolution' defined early 1970s glam rock. His androgynous image and accessible rock influenced punk and subsequent British rock. His premature death in 1977 cut short an influential career.
