Lionel Richie is an American singer, songwriter, and producer who achieved extraordinary success first with The Commodores and then as a solo artist. With The Commodores, he wrote and sang hits including 'Easy,' 'Three Times a Lady,' and 'Still.' Richie's ballads became staples of adult contemporary radio and wedding receptions. He co-wrote 'We Are the World' with Michael Jackson for USA for Africa.
