Limahl is a British singer who achieved fame as the lead vocalist of Kajagoogoo before pursuing a solo career. Kajagoogoo's 'Too Shy' topped the UK charts in 1983, making Limahl an instant pop star with his distinctive blonde mane and new romantic image. His solo career produced 'The NeverEnding Story,' the theme from the film of the same name, which became an international hit. Limahl's voice and image epitomized early 1980s pop aesthetics. Though his commercial success was concentrated in the mid-1980s, 'The NeverEnding Story' achieved enduring popularity through the beloved film.
