Artist: Led Zeppelin
Genre: Hard Rock/Blues Rock
Led Zeppelin were a British rock band formed in London in 1968, widely considered one of the greatest and most influential rock bands in history. The lineup of Robert Plant (vocals), Jimmy Page (guitar), John Paul Jones (bass/keyboards), and John Bonham (drums) created a powerful sound that helped define hard rock and heavy metal. Their untitled fourth album, featuring 'Stairway to Heaven,' is one of the best-selling albums ever. Classics like 'Whole Lotta Love,' 'Kashmir,' 'Black Dog,' and 'Rock and Roll' showcased their range from blues-based rock to epic compositions. Page's production innovations and Bonham's thunderous drumming set new standards. Led Zeppelin disbanded after Bonham's death in 1980. Their influence on rock, metal, and popular music remains immeasurable, and they continue to be discovered by new generations.
