Kreator is a German thrash metal band from Essen, formed in 1982. Along with Destruction and Sodom, they are considered part of the 'Big Teutonic Three' of German thrash metal. Their aggressive, politically charged music influenced countless extreme metal bands worldwide. Albums like 'Pleasure to Kill,' 'Coma of Souls,' and 'Violent Revolution' are considered thrash metal classics. Frontman Mille Petrozza's distinctive rasp and the band's relentless intensity set standards for extreme metal.
