Her debut single 'Kids in America,' written by her father Marty Wilde and brother Ricky, launched her career with its energetic synth-pop sound. Subsequent hits including 'Chequered Love,' 'Cambodia,' 'View from a Bridge,' and her cover of 'You Keep Me Hangin' On' maintained her chart presence throughout the decade.
