Kim Appleby is a British singer who first achieved fame as half of the duo Mel and Kim with her sister Mel Appleby. As Mel and Kim, they achieved hits including 'Showing Out,' 'Respectable,' and 'F.L.M.' After Mel's tragic death from cancer in 1990, Kim pursued a solo career that produced hits including 'Don't Worry' and 'G.L.A.D.' Her continued success demonstrated her abilities as a solo performer while honoring her sister's memory.
