Kerbdog were an Irish alternative rock band from Kilkenny who achieved cult success in the 1990s with their powerful, melodic rock sound. Their self-titled debut and follow-up 'On the Turn' earned critical praise for combining heavy guitar riffs with memorable hooks. Kerbdog toured extensively, building a devoted following in the UK and Europe. Though major commercial success proved elusive, they influenced subsequent Irish rock bands. Their reunion in 2012 demonstrated continued appreciation for their music. Kerbdog represented the quality of Irish alternative rock during the 1990s, proving that powerful guitar rock could emerge from unexpected locations.
