The Kane Gang were a British pop-soul group from Newcastle upon Tyne who achieved success in the mid-1980s. The band was part of the Kitchenware Records stable that also included Prefab Sprout. Though their commercial success was concentrated in a relatively brief period, The Kane Gang represented the quality of British blue-eyed soul during the 1980s.
