Artist: Kaleidoscope
Genre: Psychedelic Rock
Kaleidoscope was the name of multiple psychedelic rock bands, most notably an American group from Los Angeles and a British group, both active in the late 1960s. The American Kaleidoscope combined psychedelia with Middle Eastern and diverse world music influences, creating uniquely eclectic recordings. The British Kaleidoscope pursued a more quintessentially English psychedelic approach. Both bands contributed to the rich diversity of late 1960s psychedelic rock, demonstrating the genre's capacity for experimentation beyond standard rock formats. The name itself evoked the visual and sonic experimentation that characterized psychedelia's most adventurous moments.
