Jason Donovan is an Australian singer and actor who achieved massive pop success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Initially famous as Scott Robinson in the soap opera 'Neighbours,' he transitioned to music under the guidance of producers Stock Aitken Waterman. Donovan scored numerous UK hits including 'Too Many Broken Hearts,' 'Sealed with a Kiss,' and 'Any Dream Will Do' from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. His duet with Kylie Minogue, 'Especially for You,' topped the UK charts. Donovan represented the polished, commercial pop that dominated late 1980s British charts. His subsequent career included successful West End performances and television appearances. Donovan remains a nostalgic favorite representing the SAW era of British pop.
