Ironhorse was a Canadian rock band formed in 1979 by Randy Bachman after leaving Bachman-Turner Overdrive. The band's straightforward rock sound continued Bachman's tradition of hook-laden, guitar-driven rock. Their biggest hit, 'Sweet Lui-Louise,' showcased their ability to craft catchy rock songs. Ironhorse represented Bachman's continued creativity outside his better-known projects. Though they never achieved the commercial heights of BTO, Ironhorse maintained the quality craftsmanship expected from Bachman. The band's work demonstrated that experienced rock musicians could continue producing quality music even after departing successful groups. Ironhorse appealed to fans of classic rock craftsmanship and Bachman's distinctive style.
