Instant Funk was an American funk and disco band from Philadelphia who achieved success in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Their biggest hit, 'I Got My Mind Made Up (You Can Get It Girl),' became a disco classic, showcasing their tight, groove-heavy approach. The band emerged from Philadelphia's rich musical tradition and worked with various artists as session musicians before achieving their own success.
