Hollywood Beyond was a British synth-pop project fronted by Mark Rogers, achieving success in 1986 with the hit single 'What's the Colour of Money?' The song reached the UK Top 10 and became a staple of mid-1980s pop radio with its catchy synthesizer hooks and Rogers' distinctive vocals. The project was largely a studio creation produced by Rogers with various collaborators. Hollywood Beyond represented the polished, commercial synth-pop sound of the mid-1980s, following in the footsteps of artists like Howard Jones and Nik Kershaw. Though primarily a one-hit wonder, 'What's the Colour of Money?' remains a nostalgic favorite from the era.
