Artist: Golden Earring
Genre: Rock
Golden Earring was a Dutch rock band formed in 1961, making them one of the longest-running rock groups in history until their end in 2021. The band achieved international fame with their 1973 classic 'Radar Love,' a driving rock anthem that became a staple of classic rock radio worldwide. Their other major hit, 'Twilight Zone' (1982), demonstrated their ability to adapt to changing musical trends while maintaining their signature sound. Led by vocalist Barry Hay and guitarist George Kooymans, Golden Earring released over 25 studio albums and remained hugely popular in their home country throughout their career. Their energetic live performances and consistent output made them Dutch rock icons. The band's longevity and ability to create enduring rock songs cement their place in rock history as one of Europe's most significant rock exports.
